As an alternative to using the mouse, it is easy to use a keyboard shortcut to switch between worksheets in Excel.

Note: For help with this example, see the image to the right.
To move to the right:
- Press and hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard.
- Press and release the PGDN (page down) key on the keyboard.
- To move another sheet to the right press and release the PGDN key a second time.
To move to the left:
- Press and hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard.
- Press and release the PGUP (page up) key on the keyboard.
- To move another sheet to the left press and release the PGUP key a second time.
