# Excel Statistical Functions

Excel's Statistical Functions can be used to analysis the data in a spreadsheet. For example, they can be used to tell you the number of data entries you have or the average value of your data.

Excel AVERAGE Function
The AVERAGE function can be used to find the average or arithmetic mean of a list of numbers. Other ways of finding an average value include the MEDIAN and MODE functions listed below.

Excel AVERAGEIF
The AVERAGEIF function is used to find the average of values in cells that meet certain criteria.
