Adding the Table Array Argument
The Table_array argument is the range of data that the VLOOKUP array formula searches to find your information. Note that this range does not need to include all columns or even the first column of a database.
The Table_array must contain at least two columns of data with the first column containing the Lookup_value (see previous step).
Tutorial Steps
- Click on the Table_array line in the dialog box.
- Drag select cells D5 to G10 in the worksheet to add this range to the Table_array line. This is the range of data that VLOOKUP will search.
