# Rounding Number Functions

Included here are the functions in Excel that can be used to round numbers up or down.

Excel ROUND Function
The ROUND function can be used to round numbers up or down to a specific number of decimal places.

Excel ROUNDUP Function
The ROUNDUP function is used to round a number upwards by a set number of digits.

Excel ROUNDDOWN Function
The ROUNDDOWN function is used to round a number downwards by a set number of digits.

Excel INT Function
The INT function can be used to round numbers downwards to the next whole number or integer. It is used when you want to quickly remove the decimal part of a number.

Excel TRUNC Function
The Excel TRUNC function does a job similar to Excel's ROUND function but without actually rounding any numbers. What it does is truncate or shorten a number by a set number of decimal places without rounding what remains.

Excel CEILING Function
The CEILING function is used to round a number to a significant number of digits. The last digit is always rounded upward no matter the value of the rounding digit.

Excel FLOOR Function
Similar to the CEILING function, the FLOOR function always rounds the last digit rounded downward no matter the value of the rounding digit.

Excel MROUND Function
The MROUND function can be used to round a number upwards or downwards to a specified multiple depending on the value of the rounding digit.

Excel EVEN Function Tutorial
The EVEN function can be used to round all decimal numbers and odd numbered integers to the next even integer.

Excel ODD Function Tutorial
The ODD function can be used to round all decimal numbers and even numbered integers to the next odd integer.
