Using the AutoSUM Command

Note: refer to the image at the top of the page for help on these steps.

  1. Select cell C13.
  2. Click on the Auto SUM button on the standard toolbar.
  3. Check to make sure that the range that was auto selected by the command is C9 to C12.
  4. If it is, press the ENTER key on the keyboard.
  5. If it is NOT, use the mouse pointer to drag select cells C9 to C12 and then press the ENTER key.
  6. Use Auto SUM to calculate the total for cell D13 using the steps listed above.
