Using Labels in Excel Formulas and Functions

Before using labels in functions and formulas you must make sure that Accept labels in formulas is activated in the Options dialog box.

  1. Choose Tools > Options from the menu.

  2. The Options dialog box opens.

  3. Click on the Calculations tab.

  4. Make sure that the “Accept labels in formulas” option is checked.

  5. Click the OK button to close the dialog box.
