Writing the Date Function

  1. Select cell B12 in the spreadsheet.
  2. Type = NOW ( ) in cell B12 to add the current date to the spreadsheet.
  3. Press the ENTER key on the keyboard.
  • We formatted the cell B12 to show only the date in Part 1 of this tutorial.
