There are times when your data doesn't fit into a cell. The data is either too wide or far too narrow making the worksheet look unbalanced. When this happens it's easy to change the width of columns in Excel 2007. One thing to remember - you can't just widen a single cell - you have to widen the entire row or column.
As with all things Microsoft, there is more than one way to change column widths in Excel. This tutorial covers how to change column widths using options available on the ribbon and changing column widths using the mouse.
