Setting and Clearing a Print Area
By default, Excel prints the entire worksheet. One way to stop this is to set a print area, which specifies the exact range of cells to print.
To set a print area –
- Drag select the group of cells you want included in the print range.
- Choose File > Print Area > Set Print Area from the menu.
- Choose File > Print Preview from the menu to check that the print area is set correctly.
To remove a print area -
- Choose File > Print Area > Clear Print Area from the menu.
- Choose File > Print Preview from the menu to check that the print area has been cleared.
