Definition: A method used to select a range of cells. To do so, click on a cell with the left mouse button and, without releasing the button drag the pointer over a block of cells. Release the mouse button once the correct block, or range, of cells has been selected.

Chart Wizard, it is a good idea to drag select the range of cells that will be included in the pie chart. Doing so will save you from having to select the range from inside the Chart Wizard.
