Excel AVERAGEIFS Function

In addition to the AVERAGEIF function mentioned in the last post, there is also an AVERAGEIFS function in Excel.

Both functions combine the operations of AVERAGE and IF functions

Where they differ is in the number of criteria that each function can match.

AVERAGEIF is limited to matching a single criterion while AVERAGEIFS can be used to match from two to 127 criteria ranges.
