Excel's SUBSTITUTE function lets you replace existing text data in one or more worksheet cells with new words, blank spaces, or other text.
Uses for the function include removing unwanted characters from imported data and producing different versions of one worksheet.
SUBSTITUTE is similar to Excel's REPLACE function except that SUBSTITUTE exchanges specific text at any location in the selected data while REPLACE exchanges any text that occurs at a specific location.
