Keeping Headings and Titles on Screen in Excel

It gets a bit frustrating, when you scroll over to column X, Y, or Z in a worksheet only to find that the headings in column A are now out of sight.

If you are like me, you're never quite sure you are reading the right row of data so you scroll back and forth trying to read first the heading and then the data, then back to the heading and then the data again, until you're almost sure you have it right.

To avoid this back and forth waste of time, try using Excel's Freeze Panes feature.

Freeze panes lets you to lock specific rows and columns so that they will always be visible on screen no matter how far you scroll to the right or down.
