Excel 2007 PROPER Function

Friday October 16, 2009

Sometimes the data we want to import or copy into a spreadsheet is in the wrong case. That is to say, it might be all capitals or all small letters when we really want just the first letter of each word in a title or heading to be capitalized.

If this happens, the PROPER function, one of Excel's text functions, can be used to convert the text to the correct case without having to rewrite it.

To find out the details of using this function read the article on the Excel 2007 PROPER Function.
