Random Numbers in Excel 2007

The many capabilities of Excel include generating random numbers for use in your spreadsheets. One way to accomplish this is with the RAND function.

Random numbers can be used in Excel when setting up testing in scientific experiments or for such things as simulating dice rolling.

I have a question, say i needed to make a color formula based on how old from today something is, for example block A1 is green because the date in block C1 is between today and 5 days old. How can i make that happen. Thank you for you time.
