Excel 2007 RADIANS Function

Monday June 15, 2009
When most of us use a spreadsheet program like Excel we only carry out basic calculations such as division and subtraction.

In addition to this, however, Excel has a number of built in functions that allow us to carry out more advanced operations such as trigonometry, which involves measuring the angles of triangles.

When using these functions it is important to remember that angles must be measured in radians rather than degrees.

Since most data measures angles in degrees, Excel includes a function that converts degrees to radians for use with the trigonometric functions.

To find out how easy it is to do this read the article on the Excel 2007 RADIANS Function.
