Rounding Numbers in Excel

The ROUND function is most often used in Excel to reduce the number of decimal places displayed by your data.

Rounding numbers often makes them easier to comprehend. If you use information from your spreadsheets in presentations, shortening numbers to a manageable number of digits will make it easier for your audience to understand your message.
