Excel 2007 AutoAVERAGE

Friday April 10, 2009
The AVERAGE function is one of Excel's most popular functions, and one that I use frequently.

While I use it mostly when calculating student marks, it can also be useful to quickly find values such as average temperature, average price, and average speed.

The function is used so much that Microsoft has created a shortcut to the function called AutoAVERAGE. Like AutoSum, autoAVERAGE tries to determine automatically which cells in your spreadsheets you want to average.

So if you frequently need to find the average value of a range of data, read this short article on Excel 2007 AutoAVERAGE.
