Excel 2007 RANK Function

Excel has a number of statistical functions that can be used to rank data in a spreadsheet.

One of these, not surprisingly, is called the RANK function, and it can be found under the More Functions tab of the ribbon in Excel 2007.

The function allows you to rank a specific number size wise against other numbers in a list a data.

So if you are trying to find the third or fifth largest number in a list, the RANK function can help you out.
