Excel 2007 NETWORKDAYS Function

Another of Excel's date and time functions is the NETWORKDAYS function.

Unlike the more commonly used NOW and TODAY functions, which can be used to add the current time and/or date to a spreadsheet, the NETWORKDAYS function used to calculate the number of working days during a specific time period.

In the case of project management it can be used to determine the number of working days available for a project with a set end date.

The function automatically removes weekend days from the total. Specific holidays can be omitted as well.

To find out the details of using this function, read the article on Excel 2007 NETWORKDAYS Function.
