Ted's Spreadsheets BlogExcel 2007 NOW FunctionExcel has a number of functions available of adding the date and time to a spreadsheet.
These are known, not surprisingly, as Excel's date and time functions, and they can be found under that heading on the formulas tab of the ribbon in Excel 2007. One of the more commonly used in this group is the NOW function, which adds the current time and date to a cell in your spreadsheet. You can then format this entry to show just the current date, or just the current time, or leave it as is if you want both displayed. To find out the details of using this function, read the article on using the Excel 2007 NOW Function.
