Ted's Spreadsheets BlogExcel 2007 ROUNDUP FunctionThe ROUNDUP function in Excel is similar to the ROUND function in that it is often used on data to reduce the number of decimal places of data. How it differs is that it always rounds the last digit up to the next highest number.
Rounding numbers often makes them easier to comprehend. If you use information from your spreadsheets in presentations, shortening numbers to a manageable number of digits will make it easier for your audience to understand your message.
